A Journey through the Chakras workshop
Saturday, 6 October 2018
(10.30am to 4.30pm)
The word “chakra” comes from the ancient Sanskrit meaning wheel and according to such teachings, there are seven major chakras (or energy centres) that are located along our spinal column. We also have many more smaller chakras located all over our body. The chakras monitor the energy (“prana”, “chi” or “ka”) that pulses through our bodies.
When our chakras are open and functioning correctly, we feel vitalised and full of energy. However they can come blocked due to negative emotions, doubts, stresses, addictions and illness, resulting in us feeling lethargic, unhappy and even “out of sorts”.
When our chakras become blocked or unbalanced, we need to rebalance them, clear away any blockages or stale energy, and reactivate them again.
This full day workshop will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need in learning how to balance and activate your chakras so that they function correctly through the use of colour, meditation, crystals, yogic body postures (asanas), and sacred sonic vibration (bija seed sounds).
At the end of this day, relax and treat yourself to relaxing a steel tongue drum meditation that will assist with the integration of energies.
Venue: Isian Centre of Metaphysics, Parafield Gardens (address provided upon registration)
