When the first Sister Moon Circle for 2017 takes place on Friday, 27th January, it will held when the moon is in the astrological sign of Aquarius, the Water Bearer. With the actual timing of the New Moon taking place on the 28th, this Aquarian nature invites you to explore your unconventional qualities and to question rules or regulations that do not make sense. Individuality is the key word so during this time strive to be true to yourself, even if it means going against the crowd.
Typically the New Moon is the time to commence new things, to plant new seeds and to move in new directions. They are also seen as the passageways of change. Leading up to the January New Moon, what new things, or change, are you seeking in your life?
Add to this is the astrological sign of Aquarius, which is the sign of freedom. When we are discouraged, our field of vision narrows, and then we feel powerless and bogged down – a loop that can feed on itself. The Water Bearer brings forth a cleansing, the fresh winds blowing heralding change ahead. We are able to refocus our vision and open up to the yielding energies of her deep and penetrating truths. That is where the mystery lies. Tap the source to access our original fount. With vision and focus we can let it flow.
When women gather together in a circle, we tap into a sacred practice that has been taking place all over the world from ancient times. It is within these sacred circles that we form with our bodies, that we share the power of deep feminine knowledge. We all are creators. Our bodies are miraculous temples of life that store the wisdom of many generations past. And when we gather in circles, we allow this wisdom to flow continuously, in an unbroken chain of strength, knowledge, love and compassion.
During the Sister Moon Circle we will:
:: meditate in order to connect with our sacred centre,
:: ebb and flow with the energies of Grandmother Moon as she appears to the Aquarian Maiden,
:: explore a number of associated Goddess myth,
:: partake in oracle card readings, and
:: empower our Creative Souls.
Sister Moon Circles will be held at the Isian Centre of Metaphysics (Parafield Gardens) on the Friday evening closest to the New Moon, and will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Please ensure that you arrive by 7.20pm.
There are limited places available so you will need to pre-book. More information about how to secure your place during the January Sister Moon Circle can be found here.
